Temporary delay in delivery for physical mobility cards

Due to a migration to a new card producer, it is currently not possible to produce physical mobility cards. This is a temporary situation.

Who is affected by this delay?

Only cardholders who are currently waiting for a new physical mobility card are affected. If you have not recently requested a new card, this delay does not affect you.

When will card production resume?

Production is expected to resume from the third week of January. Once production has restarted, physical cards will be produced again as usual.

Can I use a virtual card in the meantime?

If your organisation supports virtual cards, you can use a virtual mobility card as a temporary solution.

The virtual card:

  • is available in the Milo app

  • can be added directly from the app to Apple Pay or Google Pay

  • allows you to use XXImo services without a physical card

What if a virtual card is not available for my organisation?

If your organisation does not support virtual cards, you will need to wait until physical card production resumes. Your card will be produced automatically once production is back online.

What happens to my existing card request?

If a physical card is requested for you, no action is required. Your request remains valid and your card will be automatically produced once card production resumes.

Will I be informed when my card is produced?

Yes. Cardholders will automatically receive an email as soon as their physical card has been produced.

Do I need to submit a new card request?

No. All existing card requests remain valid and will be processed automatically.
