How can I prevent others from using my mobility card in Google Pay if my phone is lost or stolen?
Google Pay does not store your card data on your phone. Anyone who finds or steals your phone has no access to this information; not even if your phone is not locked.
Tip: Enable Find My Device
If your phone is lost or stolen, you want to find it quickly. So make sure to enable the Find My Device app on your phone beforehand. You can enable this app via the Google Pay settings on your phone:
- On your phone, go to 'Settings'.
- Tap on 'Google'.
- Tap on 'Security'.
- Tap on 'Find My Device'.
- Enable the Find My Device app.
