Which companies must declare UBOs?
This may change depending on the jurisdiction where your company is registered. Therefore, we recommend you consult your local Trade Register and/or UBO Register. However, in general the following legal entity forms are required to declare UBOs to the official UBO Register and XXImo:
- Unlisted public and private limited liability companies
- Foundations
- Associations with full legal capacity
- Associations with limited legal capacity but with business activity
- Cooperatives
- Professional partnerships (excluding silent partnerships that do not operate business), general and limited partnerships
