Insight into the travel behaviour of employees is vital if you want to aim for sustainable mobility. XXImo offers a complete overview of all travel movements, the travel method and associated CO2 emissions. This makes it possible to manage travel behaviour and costs. All this is useful input for your CSR report. But that’s not all. More and more employers are opting for differentiation in the kilometre allowance. For example, the way in which you reimburse is in keeping with your company’s mobility objectives, such as sustainability or fitness.
In 2023, the Normative Scheme for work-related mobility will come into effect. This scheme is part of the CO2-reducing measures in the Climate Agreement. If your organisation employs more than 100 employees, you must take measures that contribute to making corporate mobility more sustainable and report on this. From 2023 onward, a set standard for CO2 emissions per kilometre applies to corporate mobility. If you don’t meet the standard, extra measures are needed to achieve fewer and cleaner kilometres.

As an employer, you have a lot to administer. This includes mandatory CO2 reporting. For each business kilometre, a record must be kept of the mode of transport, the emissions produced by the means of transport and the number of kilometres driven. This concerns the kilometres of your fleet, the kilometres driven using the private vehicles of your employees and all alternative modes of transport such as public transport, shared cars and rental cars. Therefore, make sustainable mobility your primary target, now.
