How can I prevent others from using my mobility card in Google Pay if my phone is lost or stolen?

Google Pay does not store your card data on your phone. Anyone who finds or steals your phone has no access to this information; not even if your phone is not locked.

Tip: Enable Find My Device

If your phone is lost or stolen, you want to find it quickly. So make sure to enable the Find My Device app on your phone beforehand. You can enable this app via the Google Pay settings on your phone:

  1. On your phone, go to 'Settings'.
  2. Tap on 'Google'.
  3. Tap on 'Security'.
  4. Tap on 'Find My Device'.
  5. Enable the Find My Device app.

Blocking Google Pay

You can block Google Pay in 2 ways:

1. Via Android Device Manager

You can use Android Device Manager to simply block all functions remotely when you lose your phone. NB: this Find My Device app must already be enabled on your Android phone before the loss.

2. Via our service desk

If you are unable to block Google Pay using the Android Device Manager, please feel free to contact us.
