I have successfully installed Google Pay. However, I cannot pay. What do I do?

If you want to pay with your XXImo mobility card via Google Pay, Google Pay must be set as the default payment app. You can easily configure this via the settings of your phone.

Go to the 'contactless payment' settings on your phone. You can find these settings as follows:

  1. On your phone, go to 'Settings'.
  2. Tap on 'Connected devices'.
  3. Tap on 'Connection preferences'.
  4. Tap on 'NFC' and then on 'Contactless payments' (or: 'apps & notifications', depending on your phone's brand).
  5. Under 'Default payment app', choose 'Google Pay'.
  6. Confirm your choice.
  7. Google Pay is now set as your default payment app.
